An American woman and a Russian man fight for their love despite a deadly threat in new suspense novel

MIAMI BEACH, Fla., Aug. 3, 2021 Patricia, a young American doctor, travels to Russia in a time of political change on a humanitarian mission and falls in love. Her exciting love story is suddenly affected by reactionaries and traitors, corruption and primeval black magic in Andrei Kozyrev's new suspense novel "The Caligula Curse" (published by Archway Publishing).

Pat meets a brave security officer named Victor, and they fall in love. However, their romance begins to crumble as the KGB regains power and forges an unholy alliance with priests that profess, and practice, centuries-old black magic known as "the Caligula curse." The couple tries to save their love as dark forces seize Russia. Pat, her love and friends are in mortal danger.

Kozyrev hopes that his book will give readers "an insight into deep motivations of individual human behavior from genuine love and friendship to hatred and vengeance, and also of mass movements of historical proportions."
